Good News! We have completed and approved the proofreading portion of the process. We are hard at work perfecting all the illustrations for the book. We are still looking strong for a summer release. We cannot wait to share it with you all.
We haven’t yet nailed down whether the book will be released in hardback and paperback or just paperback, nor what the price point will be, but we will get there.
I have to admit that while I am excited to get to the finish line, I am nervous about what is next. You would think that writing and illustrating and the whole publishing process would be the hardest part, but it is really the easiest. It’s the part that we wanted to do. It was all fun and excitement. As we get closer and eventually get to the release, is when the hard work begins. The parts that we are not as sure what will happen. How do we build and audience for the book? What type of promotions do we do? How many, where and how big of appearances do we need? Who should be talking to give us the biggest chance of success? There are at least 100 more questions we have to consider. They all need good answers, and all require time and energy and resources.
